Geelong

More information

The city of Geelong is located on Victoria's south-west coast and is hailed as the gateway to the world famous Great Ocean Road.

Boasting one of the best lifestyles in Australia, this waterfront metropolis features many charming cafes & restaurants, fully restored Art Deco style sea baths, yacht club marina and is home to award winning wineries.

A walk along the scenic bayside promenade is punctuated by colourful carved bollards, which represent many of Geelong's historical characters.

Cruise ships berthing at Geelong's Cunningham Pier is located within the beautifully rejuvenated Waterfront and only a few minutes walk from the central city. The berth can cater for ships with a total length of 188 metres.

The Geelong region is a rich tapestry of natural beauty, native wildlife and mouth watering local produce just waiting to be discovered.

It offers guests a diverse range of contrasts, with rugged coastline giving way to tranquil rainforests, wide volcanic plains and mountain ranges abound with aboriginal culture and history.

Half and full day shore excursions allows for an extraordinary and very accessible guest experience.

With kilometres of pristine beaches and a rich calendar of major cultural and sporting events, this former major wool shipping port is now a thriving visitor haven. The sights, sounds and style of Waterfront Geelong are a reward for all that make the journey.
